These are my grandma shoes. I wore them all day today, while I did all of my grandma stuff. I peeled apples. I prepared a church lesson (and gave it, in my matching grandma dress). I made waffles for hungry missionaries. I baked peanut butter oatmeal M&M cookies. I read stories aloud. I worked a crossword puzzle. I gave some grandmotherly advice (that sounds suspiciously like regular advice) and managed to work in the phrase, Oh, my aching bones. I did dishes, wore an apron, and tucked someone into bed. All with a twinkle in my eye, and grandma shoes on my feet. Yeah, they're four inches tall...and not that easy to walk in. But it is more important to look grandmotherly than it is to be comfortable.
Hey, I am getting good at this grandma stuff.

You might be taking this grandma thing to seriously!:) I think it's going to really hit me when she calls me "grandma!"
Those are pretty sexy grandma shoes!
i'm pretty sure my grandma never wore shoes that fancy. :)(and i know they don't wear four inch heels)
That is so fun. I can't wait for that. I'm lovin those shoes
those shoes are bomb...I love them
PS...will you share your peanut butter oatmeal M&M cookie recipe? If I were your neighbor, I am sure I would be begging food off of you daily.
I am your neighbor and rarely get stuff! I think I have even won things and not gotten them.
Gardenweasel...that is TRUE. I am afraid that the time I got you the elk jerky, I brought it home to give you, but then one afternoon I had eaten too much sugar, and needed a little salt to balance it out, and there was that jerky, and I just couldn't stop myself.
I owe you some chocolate chip cookies and a burger fresh off the grill.
Vic...amen, sister...amen.
oh, Corey is taking both kids tonight to practice with them...although, I am pretty certain they aren't the problem. we also bought some drum sticks that are for quieter playing. syd is beating them now..and they are better.
You peeled apples, prepared a lesson, made waffles, baked cookies, told stories (geez . . . I'm exhauseted already), did a crossword puzzle (now crosseyed . . .) and ALL wearing those shoes. You ARE wonder woman:)
But those are unlike any Grandma shoes that I've ever seen - very classy grandma!
